The cement tile roofing machine supplies a certain amount of raw material mortar to the downward grinding tool through a quantitative feeder, and then presses the upper mold and the lower mold in the vertical direction to press out the cement tile embryo. The pneumatic component suitable for the cement tile batching device includes an air cylinder. The cylinder is a cylindrical metal mechanism that guides the piston to perform linear reciprocating motion. The working fluid converts thermal energy into mechanical energy through expansion in the cylinder. The gas is compressed by the piston in the compressor cylinder to increase the pressure. The cylinder used in the cement tile machine is composed of cylinder tube, end cover, piston, piston rod and seals, etc.:

1. Cylinder

The inner diameter of the cylinder represents the output force of the cylinder. The piston should slide back and forth in the cylinder, and the surface roughness of the inner surface of the cylinder should reach Ra0.8μm. SMC and CM2 cylinder pistons use combined seals to achieve bidirectional sealing. The piston and the piston rod are crimped together without a nut.

2. End cap

The end cover is provided with an air inlet and an exhaust port, and some have a buffer mechanism in the end cover. The rod side end cover is equipped with a sealing ring and a dust ring to prevent air leakage from the piston rod and prevent external dust from mixing into the cylinder. The rod side end cover is provided with a guide sleeve to improve the guide accuracy of the cylinder, bear a small amount of side load on the piston rod, reduce the bending amount of the piston rod when it is extended, and extend the service life of the cylinder. The guide bushing is usually made of sintered oil-bearing alloy and forward cast copper castings. The end caps are usually made of malleable cast iron. In order to reduce weight and prevent rust, aluminum alloy die casting is often used. Brass is used for miniature cylinders.

3. Piston

The piston is the pressure part in the cylinder. In order to prevent the left and right chambers of the piston from blowing air to each other, a piston sealing ring is provided. The wear ring on the piston can improve the guidance of the cylinder, reduce the wear of the piston seal, and reduce the friction resistance. The wear-resistant ring length is made of polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene, fabric synthetic resin and other materials. The width of the piston depends on the size of the seal and the length of the required sliding part. If the sliding part is too short, it may cause premature wear and seizure. The material of the piston is usually aluminum alloy and cast iron, while the piston of the small cylinder is made of brass.

4. Piston rod

The piston rod is the most important bearing component in the cylinder. High-carbon steel is usually used, the surface is plated with hard chromium, or stainless steel is used to prevent corrosion and improve the wear resistance of the seal ring.

5. Sealing ring

The sealing of the parts when rotating or reciprocating is called dynamic sealing, and the sealing of fixed parts is called static sealing.

The connection methods of cylinder barrel and end cover mainly include: integral type, riveting type, threaded connection type, flange type and tie rod type.

6. When the cylinder is working, the piston is lubricated by the oil mist in the compressed air. There are also a small number of non-lubricated cylinders.
